Sunlight waits<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>for me to return.&nbsp; Blackness<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>cries of broken hips or worse.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It teases me with the taste of that loss.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Eight weeks of sitting; waiting for that cracked bone<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>to heal; to return to driving for groceries, lifting<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>them into the car, into the house and walking<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>the dog.
