I would like to hide from the world;<\/p>\n\n\n\n
the ice mansion of Dr. Zhivago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
only one white road in and out. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
In winter, flames rainbow the icicles. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
A small room — walnut table and chair— <\/p>\n\n\n\n
used envelopes for starting poems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In spring, lingering smell of ashes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Gnashing of ice floes in the river. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Summer would bring nesting <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Snowy owls and haunting loons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Autumn and the dying sun creep up on me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
